Real-life couple Ryan Bingham and Hassie Harrison, who play Walker and Laramie on the hit Paramount Network drama, have shared an update from the set of the final season

Yellowstone stars and real-life couple, Ryan Bingham and Hassie Harrison, have shared exciting news from the production of the second part of season five.

The popular Paramount Network drama is projected to be back on screens in November 2024, marking a whopping two-year hiatus.

The globally appreciated Western series by Taylor Sheridan faced numerous hurdles along the way, including the departure of Hollywood bigwig Kevin Costner, who chased his own cinematic endeavours with Horizon: An American Saga.

Despite this, the final six episodes are seemingly being filmed in Montana as we speak.

Ryan and Hassie, portraying the ranch characters Walker and Laramie and who tied the knot recently, posted an intriguing update on their Instagram accounts, reports the Express.

They uploaded a delightful selfie taken together on the set, sporting traditional cowboy outfits and grinning ear to ear.

“Back in the saddle!” was their jolly caption.

Many among the show’s millions of fans were thrilled to receive a solid update regarding the progress of Yellowstone.

In response, one dedicated fan gushed: “power couple two of the best.”

“Looking forward to seeing you two at the Y,” another person commented.

One optimistic viewer speculated: “I hope they marry you guys in the show as well!”

However, for some, it remains hard to swallow that only a meagre six episodes wrapping up the Dutton saga have taken such an extended period to produce.

One viewer expressed their frustration, commenting: “It’s amazing and very curious to me how Jeremy Renner who’s almost crushed to death by a large piece of machinery was able to get back to work and his show has already been available now.

“And yet Taylor Sheridan’s other shows for some reason take years before new episodes are available.”

Another fan humorously remarked: “It’s about f***ing time! Been ready for like a decade now.”

Despite concerns over the main series, fans can rest assured that the Yellowstone universe is set to continue beyond season five, which wraps up at the end of the year.

The creative force behind the show, Taylor Sheridan, is said to have multiple projects lined up, including sequels and spin-offs. One such project is a continuation titled 2024, rumoured to feature Academy Award-winner Matthew McConaughey in the lead role.

Additionally, a second instalment of the prequel series 1923, with Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, is reportedly in development, alongside another prequel set in the year 1944.

Yellowstone season 5, part 2 premieres Sunday, November 10 on Paramount.
