Here are a few of the key questions that Adison Haager and Billy Dukes look to answer:

・Is that Lloyd getting pushed off the cliff at the train station?

・Why are Rip and Lloyd torching Jamie Dutton’s SUV?

・Does something awful happen to Monica?

・Is Kevin Costner coming back?

Now in its fourth season, Dutton Ruleshas helped more than a million fans understand the twists and turns of Yellowstone, 1923, 1883 and more. It’s been a bumpy journey, with more than a few dead ends and so much to recall ahead of the S5, Part 2 premiere on Nov. 10.

‘Yellowstone’ Season 5, Part 2 Preview [Dutton Rules]

Yellowstone Season 5 resumes in two months — is anyone else having a hard time remembering where we left off?

This week’s return of the Dutton Rules podcast focuses on the bridge between Season 5, Part 1 and Season 5, Part 2.

Sadly, Kevin Costner fell off that bridge, but Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly may have built one that extends past what is thought to be the last chapter of the Western drama.

Adison Haager and Billy Dukes break down a new teaser and talk spoilers and theories before exploring Taylor Sheridan’s new series Landman and the likelihood of 1923 Season 2 premiering in 2024. When Does Yellowstone Return?

Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2 begins on Nov. 10 on Paramount Network. It’s set to air weekly through the end of 2024.

Is Kevin Costner Returning to Yellowstone?

Kevin Costner is not returning for Season 5, Part 2 of Yellowstone, and fans are pretty mad about it. He just wasn’t able to come to terms for what was thought to be the final installment of the show. The most popular theory is that his John Dutton character will be killed off early during Season 5, Part 2.

Yellowstone Season 5, Part 1 Recap:

Twenty-two months will have passed between new episodes — we kind of forgot what happened, too!

Here is a short Yellowstone Season 5, Part 1 recap:

  • Jamie and Beth still hate each other and may be plotting to kill one another. Jamie definitely is — he convinced his girlfriend Sarah Atwood to hire a crew to do the job. Beth floated the idea of sending Jamie to the train station by her father, but the camera panned away before he gave his answer.
  • John Dutton’s political career is in peril because his son Jamie convinced Montana legislature to begin impeachment proceedings. His argument is that John Dutton is using the position of governor for personal gain (he’s 100 percent right), but bad press — remember the wolves shot on the ranch early in Season 5? — isn’t helping.

  • Monica and Kayce have found peace. They lost their baby when Monica got in a car accident at the start of Season 5, and subsequent episodes zoomed in on her grief. By the end, they’d found solace and agreed to watch over the ranch, because …
  • Everyone is headed to Texas. Brucellosis is threatening the cattle, so John decided to move the herd to Texas. The move might bankrupt him, but it will cost him help at home, as Rip, Walker, Ryan, Jake and Teeter are all headed south. That’s bad news for Laramie, who is dating Walker, and Abby (played by Lainey Wilson), who is dating Ryan. Teeter and Colby will also be separated. Remember when she uttered “I love you” to close out an episode?
  • John Dutton and Chief Rainwater are allies. The two men forged a bond to protest a planned pipeline set to split the Broken Rock Reservation in two. It’s during this press conference that Gov. Dutton learns he’s being impeached.
  • Beth and Summer fought to a truce. For the better part of two episodes, cameras followed John Dutton’s girlfriend Summer Higgins and Beth until tension boiled over into a pretty epic fist fight. Neither really won, but both seem to have found a new respect for the other. One can’t help but wonder how Summer will be used, with John Dutton out of the picture.
  • Sarah Atwood is using Jamie Dutton. Even though they’re sleeping together and even though she’s helping him kill her father, Sarah is still working for herself and Market Equities. There’s no doubt she’ll stab him in the back at some point, perhaps literally.

Yellowstone Season 6?

News that Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser (Beth and Rip) are negotiating to lead a sixth season of Yellowstone (perhaps under a different name?) is not confirmed, but promising. Puck was the original source, and the outlet has been reliable narrators since beginning to cover the show’s drama several years ago.

It remains to be seen if “Season 6” is still called Yellowstone or if it’s the show Matthew McConaughey has been tied to. Confirmed is a new prequel called Madison, starring Michelle Pfeiffer, although no timetable has been given.

Longtime fans are aware of other spinoffs gaining traction, but never taking off. A show based on the 6666 Ranch in Texas comes to mind.
