A new trailer has been released for the final episodes of Yellowstone season 5 and it show’s Beth Dutton confessing “I can’t do this any more”.
Yellowstone season five will be returning to Paramount Plus with the final episodes of the series on November 11 and a new explosive trailer has been released.
John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner) stars in the trailer’s opening moments with the clip making no reference to the actor’s departure from the series.
His voice can be heard saying: “Everyone has forgotten who runs this valley. Time to remind them.”
His daughter Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) can then be seen stressing how the ranch is their “family legacy”.
Her husband, Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) vows to protect it “with his life”, which will undoubtedly leave viewers fearing a terrible fate as he risks sacrificing himself for the ranch.
Death is further teased when Jamie Dutton’s (Wes Bentley) love interest Sarah Atwood (Dawn Olivieri) says: “Old lions die in the jaws of the younger lions, and you are the younger lion.”
She has been manipulating Jamie all along, using him to do her dirty work, which could culminate in Jamie turning on his own family in the most brutal of ways.
Meanwhile, Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) is seen forming an unbreakable alliance with Thomas Rainwater (Gil Birmingham) as they both spill blood.
Thomas reassures Kayce “we are your brothers now” as they join forces to protect what means the most to them.
Gunfire and flames feature heavily in the trailer as Rip continues to warn of a fight brewing.
Beth opens up to Rip with a drink in hand as she declares: “I can’t do this any more,” to which Rip replies: “Well you’re going to have to, honey. Or we are going to lose this place.”
She is then seen crying as she warns: “You will ruin this family’s name”, although it is not clear who she is speaking to.
As John declares “the war is just beginning”, Beth issues the final chilling words: “The only thing left to do is to kill as much as you can before they kill you.”
