The actress has played Lynelle Perry since the show’s first season in 2018

Wendy Moniz is bidding a fond farewell to Yellowstone.

On Sunday, Aug. 4, the actress, 55, posted an emotional message on Instagram reflecting on her time on the hit show after shooting her final scenes for season 5, which returns in November.

“Series wrap for me on Yellowstone🎬 and been having alllll the feels; sentimental, proud, grateful to name a few,” Moniz, who plays Senator Lynelle Perry on the show, wrote as she shared behind-the-scenes photos from the set.

“What a beautiful experience I’ve had here; just incredibly fortunate to have worked with so many talented, dedicated, and kind people since 2017,” she continued. “I completed my last scene Aug. 1, then recalled having previously shared a gratitude post … looking back, it was on the SAME DATE two years ago 🤯.”

Moniz then referenced her gratitude post from 2022 in the second slide, which showed a screenshot of the message with a yellow circle penned over the date.

The actress wrote in the throwback post about it being a “gift” to be “surrounded by so many talented actors” on the show, adding that it was “a privilege” being part of it.

Moniz continued, “There’s been a lot to reflect on, because this place, with the exceptional people who make it live and breathe, has often felt like a home away from home over these last 7 years.”

“Sharing some favorite captures during the course of that time for y’all 📸💛🙏 #YellowstoneTV (Epic return November 10th🤠),” she concluded.

Among the photos shared was an image of Moniz standing in the doorway of a dressing room smiling while looking up at some balloons, a snap of her stroking a horse on the show’s famed Yellowstone Dutton Ranch set and a picture of her actor’s chair with her name printed on the back.

A final poignant snap showed a Paramount Network hoodie laid out on a bed along with a yellow beanie marked with a ‘Y’ logo in reference to the show and its network.

Not much has been revealed about the plot for the upcoming season. However, the show’s lead, Kevin Costner, has departed the series. In June, Costner, 69, told PEOPLE, “I loved the show.” At the time, he said the long break between the first and second half of season 5, as well as a lack of a timeline on when the final batch of episodes would film led to his exit.

The second half of Yellowstone premieres Nov. 10 on Paramount Network.
