During an interview with TMZ, Neal described Kevin’s exit as poorly timed but emphasized that the primary issues were between Kevin and the show’s creator, Taylor Sheridan.

Neal, who appeared with Kevin in several episodes throughout season 2 as bad guy Malcolm Beck, highlighted the logistical challenges Kevin faced.

According to Neal, Kevin’s commitments to other projects like his new western movie Horizon contributed to the timing conflict.

Neal expressed his respect for working with Kevin: “We get each other, and it was really such an honor to be part of that show with him in that iconic character he played. But things happen after time and schedules conflict.”

“It was really just a timing thing. What Kevin was saying before is he was off doing Horizon, Taylor’s doing his shows, and this one took a while to get cooking for the last season,” Neal reiterated.
