The Molly’s Game actor recently went through a painful public divorce after almost 20 years of marriage, left to pick up the pieces as a single man at 69. He also left the cast of the popular Paramount neo-western show Yellowstone amid rumors of behind-the-scenes drama to star in his passion project Horizon, which ended up being a box office flop.

Despite all of the tribulations he has faced in 2024, the Oscar winner is staying grounded by leaning on his six children for support, especially during the holiday season.

The movie star is father to adult children Annie (40) , Lily (38), and Joe, (36), who he shares with his first ex-wife, Cindy Silva. His younger children, Cayden Wyatt (17), Hayes Logan (15), and Grace Avery (14) are from his most recent marriage with 50-year-old Christine Baumgartner.

Christine and Kevin’s divorce was finalized in February of this year after filing in May 2023.

According to a source who spoke with Life & Style: “His kids from both ex-wives get along great and they’re banding together to take care of him now, keeping his spirits up through the loneliness of the holidays and everything else he’s had to deal with.”

On top of his painful split from Christine, the Oscar winner left the hit Paramount show Yellowstone due to scheduling conflicts with Horizon. The film, which had a budget of $100 million, took a major hit at the box office, making just over $30 million. The decision to leave the show sparked rumors of tension between him and showrunner Tyler Sheridan, as well as his fellow co-stars.

The source went on to say: “Kevin tried to be the best dad he could during their childhoods, he’d have them on the set with him just to stay close, and they’re giving back to him right now,” adding: “They’re what is keeping him going strong even as he faces more adversity.”
