Yellowstone may be coming to an end but actor Luke Grimes already has another project lined up with an all-star cast.

Yellowstone’s Luke Grimes is working on an upcoming film that has attracted some big names, including Oscar winner Emma Stone.

The hit Paramount Network Western drama is currently in the middle of a hiatus after debuting season five part one back in November 2022.

Part two is going to be the final lot of episodes, bringing Yellowstone to an end so there has been much anticipation for its return which is set for sometime in November this year.

Despite the ongoing wait for the last episodes, some of the cast members have already moved onto new ventures, from Kelly Reilly’s Paramount+ movie Little Wing, to Kevin Costner’s epic film saga Horizon.

Now, news has come out that Kayce Dutton star Luke Grimes has got something of his own lined up which could be a hit, going by his future co-stars.

Grimes is set to star in the movie Eddington which is reportedly a neo-Western film which follows “a small-town New Mexico sheriff with higher aspirations”.

As of yet, there is no release date but according to Variety, production is set to begin this month.

What has been announced, however, are some of Grimes’ co-stars, including the likes of Joker’s Joaquin Phoenix, Elvis’ Austin Butler and The Last of Us’ Pedro Pascal.

Also leading the cast is none other than Emma Stone who was awarded Best Actress at this year’s Academy Awards for the movie Poor Things.

Acting isn’t the only avenue that Grimes is going down following the end of the Western drama.

He has ventured into the world of country music, releasing his self-titled debut album at the beginning of the month.

The 40-year-old is also set to do a number of concerts in the US over the next few months, going by his official website.

During a conversation with People though, Grimes talked of his feelings on saying goodbye to Yellowstone.

“For seven years, we’ve been doing this, and we started in 2017. That’s crazy”, he said.

“[Yellowstone has] been one of the most intense experiences of my life.

“Also, one of the most rewarding. It’s changed my life in every way possible.

“Nothing will ever be the same because of this show in all sorts of ways, good and bad. I will miss it terribly. I know that.

“I mean, I think I’m ready to know how it ends. I’m ready to tell the end of the story.”
