Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) was expected by General Hospital spoilers to find love before the conclusion of his stint, and it appears that he and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) might be getting their wish.
When they first met, it was made fun of, and they quarreled like cats and dogs until they were able to establish a reliable and pleasant working friendship.
Though it might have merely been the adrenaline rush of not dying while skydiving, it makes reasonable that they would at least take a step toward being a couple since she was the first person he told about his ALS.
There is so much potential for this to be a really great storyline if the writers have the patience to let it play out, and that means we could be in for a treat.
Till the end
Even if there is a lot of potential here, “General Hospital” spoilers were hoping that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Gregory would cross paths since Tracy’s passion would have made this a must-see television program.
She would have fought fiercely against his illness and given him the courage to struggle and survive, but Alexis is an equally wise decision because she will support him in a different way.
If Tracy were passionate, she would probably demand that he never give up and not accept his fate.
To make his last days some of the happiest he’s ever had, Alexis will stand by him and support him in living and enjoying life to the fullest.
It’s a great pairing and it’ll be fun to see how much it’ll grow in the coming weeks, but there is the catch that they may chalk their kissing up to raging emotions and spur of the moment feelings.
Too much to handle
While we would love to see Gregory Chase and Alexis together, there’s a legitimate argument that Alexis has too much on her plate to add the additional emotional weight of a relationship with Gregory.
She’s very rationally minded, so she’ll weigh the pros and cons, check the boxes, and state her argument.
Gregory will do that as well, but we don’t think he’ll go to the same lengths as Alexis and he’ll win her over.
It will benefit them both, as she will support him and he will provide her with a release valve to temporarily forget about the strain and possible issues in her family.
They will be beneficial to one another, but that will also make his final demise even more tragic and heartbreaking. He will undoubtedly leave his mark.
